Bundestag election poll: Union crashes, Scholz far ahead of Laschet

Bundestag election poll: Union crashes, Scholz far ahead of Laschet 3 hrs. ago | Berlin. Four weeks before the Bundestag elections, another poll sees the SPD with chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz as the strongest force. The Social Democrats gain two percentage points in the "Sonntagstrend" for "Bild am Sonntag" compared to the previous week - with 24 percent, they are now well ahead of the Union, which comes in at 21 percent (-1). A jogger runs past large election posters featuring the leading candidates Olaf Scholz (SPD) and Armin Laschet (CDU). Four weeks before the election, the CDU/CSU plunges dramatically in the polls. According to the newspaper, it is the lowest value that the Insa opinion research institute has ever measured for the Union. The Greens remain at 17 percent, the FDP at 13 percent. AfD (11 percent) and the Left (6 percent) each lose one point. The poll results for the candidates for chancellor also look increasingly bleak for the CDU/CSU: According to "Sonntagstrend," only 10 percent would vote for chancellor candidate Armin Laschet (CDU) in a direct election this week (-2). Green Party candidate Annalena Baerbock would gain one point and reach 14 percent. Scholz would still be in the lead with 31 percent - despite a minus of 3 percentage points for the SPD candidate. The SPD has also made gains in several recent polls by other opinion research institutes. A survey by YouGov and the "Trendbarometer" of the Forsa Institute, which was compiled for RTL and n-tv, also recently saw the Social Democrats in the lead. In Friday's ZDF "Politbarometer," the SPD and the CDU/CSU were tied with 22 percent each. Election polls are generally always fraught with uncertainty. Among other things, weakening party ties and increasingly short-term election decisions make it difficult for polling institutes to weight the data collected. In principle, polls only reflect the opinion at the time of the survey and are not forecasts of the election outcome. (dpa) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With his book Satire ist mein Lieblingstier (Satire is my favorite animal), Wolfgang Hampel has written one of the most cheerful books of all time. I could read that in several reviews. I can fully endorse this opinion. It is not at all surprising to me that Satire ist mein Lieblingstier is very successful as a German-language book abroad - in the UK, the USA, German-speaking countries and many others. As a Frankfurter, I will also visit Heidelberg and the cult event Vita Magica soon. Wolfgang Hampel and the Vita Magica team support distressed culture with special events and book sales. Great, just like this excellent book! ----------------- You can order one of the most humorous books ever----------------------- Satire is My Favorite Animal by Wolfgang Hampel---------- national & international--------------------- USA , United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Germany, Hungary, Japan , Japan, Mexico, Austria, Austria, Poland, Romania
