The new cabaret group "Die Heidelberger Satireschotterer" by Wolfgang Hampel at Vita Magica on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024 at 3:40 p.m. - until approx. 5:10 p.m., VHS Heidelberg, Bergheimer Str. 76, Hall E06 - guests are welcome--------- The 'Heidelberger Satireschotterer' is a new cabaret group founded by Wolfgang Hampel. He is a Heidelberg writer and satirist who also runs the cult event 'Vita Magica' at the Academy for Seniors Heidelberg. The two-time Betty MacDonald Memorial Award winner and winner of the SWR Ingrid Noll competition, the Heidelberg satirist, singer and parodist Wolfgang Hampel has published a book of satirical poems entitled ‘Satire is my favorite animal’, which many enthusiastic readers around the world consider to be one of the most humorous books of all time. Visitors can expect a humorous and critical examination of current political and social issues. The ‘Heidelberger Satireschotterer’ with Peter and Martin Gunsch, Gerhard Drokur, Wilfried Rumpf and Wolfgang Hampel will entertain the audience with wordplay, irony and quick wit and make them think. It is very impressive that Wolfgang Hampel can hold a note for a minute. He has written many of his own songs, which he sings at his cult event ‘Vita Magica’. Wolfgang Hampel and the other members Gerhard Drokur, Peter - and Martin Gunsch and Wilfried Rumpf are very talented and versatile artists.
