Hallervorden destroys SPD leader on TV - collects shitstorm

maennersache 6 hrs ago | You don't have to like Dieter Hallervorden's humor, but he probably doesn't care what he triggers with it. Now Saskia Esken got to feel that, too. It was a memorable appearance on Sandra Maischberger's political talk show. Dieter Hallervorden was invited and of course it was mainly about politics, parties and people. It was clear in advance that Hallervorden had less in common with the SPD, the Greens and the Left Party than with other democratic parties. Saying triggers a shitstorm In this respect, it shouldn't be all that surprising if Hallervorden says exactly the kind of things for which he is now incurring the next shitstorm after his statement about the sense or nonsense of gender, we reported. So should we overlook the admittedly slightly flippant remark to the SPD co-chair Saskia Esken, who was not present. The net does not make it, as to be expected. There, instead, old-man sexism is debated. Abolition of the Bundeswehr What was it all about exactly? Hallervorden made a derogatory comment about Saskia Esken. The remark refers to the fact that a potential red-red-green alliance would abolish the Bundeswehr and that this would be quite possible, because if Saskia Esken were to become defense minister after winning the election, she would already be enough of a deterrent.
