Baerbock hammer shortly before change of government - promotions on a continuous basis

Surveys indicate that there will be a change of government after the federal election. Before the traffic light coalition moves to a CDU-led government, some ministers are announcing a number of promotions in their departments. This is attracting criticism.
The journalist Nena Brockhaus posted an overview from the "Welt" on X, in which the promotions in the federal ministries are listed. Brockhaus commented on the overview with the words: "Speaks for itself."
Baerbock promotes the most
The figure shows: The frontrunner is the Green Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. She makes the most promotions with 48. A total of 130 civil servants are being promoted in her department. Her SPD cabinet colleague Svenja Schulze in the Development Ministry was announced at least 26 promotions. And 27 civil servants were promoted.
SPD Labor Minister Hubertus Heil announced 16 promotions and promoted 28 civil servants. And 11 promotions can be recorded in the Interior Ministry under Nancy Faeser. A total of 24 civil servants were promoted.
X user angry: “You just have to leave the successor with rotten eggs in the nest”
No wonder that this practice is met with criticism. One user writes on X: “Unfortunately, this has been good practice under all governments that have been voted out. You just have to leave the successor with rotten eggs in the nest.”
Another user writes particularly sharply: “The comrades in red and green are lining their pockets. As always. Good Marxists!”
The journalist Peter Marwan, on the other hand, criticizes the post that was not classified by Brockhaus: “Without a comparison to previous years and previous December figures (perhaps promotions for civil servants and ministries take place at the end of each year?), these figures say nothing at all. You should know that as a political commentator.”
Another user agrees: “In the Foreign Ministry, only about one percent of employees were promoted. That doesn’t even replace the natural fluctuation and is clearly too little. Anyone who says that’s too much either can’t do math or has lost all touch with reality. Or both.”
