It's good that Israel doesn't listen to Baerbock and the other peace Smurfs

WELT It's good that Israel doesn't listen to Baerbock and the other peace Smurfs Article by Jacques Schuster • 8 hours • 2 minutes reading time Israel's strikes against Hamas and Hezbollah show that terrorists can be brought to their knees militarily, even without the round table - which the Green German State Secretary de luxe, France and the UN are demanding. When rockets rained down on the Jewish state day after day, they remained silent. When Israel prepared for war after the Hamas attack a year ago, the cheeky cry rang out from Europe that terrorism could not be defeated by military means. Negotiations would have to take place. Today, a year later, Hamas as a terrorist army has been largely destroyed, most of its leaders have been killed - and the group as such is only capable of guerrilla attacks. The development in Lebanon is similar. On October 8, 2023, just a few hours after the Hamas attack on Israel, Hezbollah intervened in the war from Lebanon. It carpet bombed northern Israel and forced hundreds of thousands of Israelis to flee. The world was largely silent. It only started to speak out again when Israeli intelligence recently neutralized several Hezbollah leaders by exploding their pagers, Israel's army launched rocket attacks on the Shiite terrorist organization's position and invaded Lebanon with ground troops. It was immediately said again that terrorists cannot be defeated militarily. Negotiations must take place. But Hezbollah is moving even without the Round Table. Pressed by the massive attacks by the Israelis, they have now backed down from their demand that the weapons should only be silenced when there is a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The International of the One-Eyed cannot do otherwise As we know Israel, it will not be satisfied with this. Fortunately! Israel's army in Lebanon is currently doing what the United Nations decided in its Resolution 1701 in 2006: it is pushing Hezbollah fighters to the other bank of the Litani River. But UN Secretary General António Guterres, France's new Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock, our Green State Secretary de luxe, are demanding an immediate end to the fighting. Why didn't the three brave peace Smurfs press Hezbollah to finally accept the UN resolution at round tables before the war began? Why did they remain silent when rockets were raining down on Israel day after day? The answer is easy: they belong to the international of the one-eyed. They can't help but apply double standards.
