When he put on his glasses for the first time, he was amazed at how clear everything suddenly became. A new world for him and he realized how bad his eyesight was without correction. Daniel was so happy that he could finally see everything again. He got used to his new glasses very quickly, but he was also shocked by the fact that his vision was getting worse without them. He now feels very self-conscious without glasses and always wears glasses, even when peeing and doing big business, because he is afraid that things might go wrong. When Daniel has sex with his husband Marc, they both wear glasses because they see everything blurry. Daniel only has one problem. When he takes buses or subways and they are overcrowded, he is always afraid that passengers with large shoulder bags or backpacks could damage his glasses. That's why he now wears protective goggles over his real glasses in these situations. Now he feels much safer wearing glasses. He had a bad experience on the subway a while ago and was so glad that he wore his safety glasses that day. A very drunk passenger came up to him and shouted: I'm going to rip your glasses off your gay face. Then you gay pig are blind and I'll do it for you. Thank God Daniel was wearing his new safety glasses and the brutal guy didn't damage Daniel's glasses because several passengers came to his aid. The alcoholic was later arrested by the police. Daniel is traumatized after this incident and seriously wonders how he can live as a young, gay, visually impaired man who needs glasses for the rest of his life? Daniel is very afraid that this horrible incident could happen again. His glasses could be destroyed and Daniel's eyes could be so injured that he goes blind. Daniel was so afraid that he stopped wearing his glasses on buses and subways for several days, but he quickly realized that he couldn't live without glasses anymore. Daniel says he's totally screwed without glasses and he can't tolerate contact lenses. What would you recommend Daniel?
