In Übermedien, an online magazine for media criticism, Wittkamp wrote: "Don't contribute, even if it's just jokes, to panic, lies or resignation" and "Don't joke about sick people or the suffering of others." One thing is certain: Humor is always individual and dependent on personal circumstances. "Generally, we go through the crisis with a sense of humor," says Scheel. But there are also people who are in quarantine with children or in intensive care in the hospital.
