TV star rails against Stefan Raab's "ESC is a matter for the boss"

TVSpielfilm.de TV star rails against Stefan Raab's "ESC is a matter for the boss" Julian Nuhanovic • 6 hours • 2 minutes reading time This TV star is angry with Stefan Raab because of the ESC preliminary round. Michael Dierks, known from "TV Kaiser" and "Hausmeister Krause", has now made a name for himself as a pop singer. He submitted his application for this year's ESC preliminary round: "ESC 2025 is a matter for the boss - who sings for Germany?", but the answer was a disappointment: a rejection. Despite his musical roots - influenced by his father, Scorpions producer Dieter Dierks - and his years of enthusiasm for the ESC, he was denied participation. Now Dierks is speaking out about his disappointment for the first time and cannot resist taking a swipe at the other finalists and at Stefan Raab, who signed a mega deal with RTL. Michael Dierks stunned by ESC rejection: "I'm better known than all the finalists on Saturday" Dierks had deliberately applied for the ESC preliminary round due to his close RTL connections. In an interview with "Bild.de" he now expressed his surprise at the rejection: "I think it's good that Stefan Raab and RTL are now on board. That's why the rejection came as all the more of a surprise to me. I had hoped that my talent would be recognized there..." Stefan Raab was also stunned by a "crap song" by the band Feuerschwanz during the preliminary round. Dierks also has nothing good to say about those responsible at Raab Entertainment, who organized the preliminary round: "I don't understand why I'm out, I wasn't given any specific reasons. I was simply rejected - even though I'm better known than all the finalists on Saturday. I've already released two CDs and was on a world tour with Fragma." Michael Dierks angry with Raab team In the written rejection, which "Bild.de" has received, Raab Entertainment writes: "After a thorough evaluation of all the parameters that are crucial for the selection process, we have unfortunately come to the conclusion that you did not make it onto the shortlist for this project." Michael Dierks comments: "That sounds like a standard rejection to me. With all my experience under my belt, I think that's a shame and inappropriate." He is not the only one complaining: some fans are also annoyed by Stefan Raab on "Chefsache ESC".
