Betty MacDonald biography

One of the most interesting subjects is the future use of  huge Betty MacDonald Fan Club Collection.

The international Betty MacDonald Community should discusss  this.

It's true. There is lots of potential for fascinating  Betty MacDonald Fan Club research projects.
What about a Betty MacDonald letter biography mentioning all the details, comments and so on?

There are so many aspects in Betty MacDonald's life she never mentioned in her famous books.
Anyway - letters by Betty MacDonald and the family are great stuff. You can find the most interesting and witty examples.

One example of Bard family tradition is the already very  often mentioned  Alison Bard Burnett, Betty MacDonald's youngest sister.
Alison is such a very gifted storyteller in the interviews with Betty MacDonald Fan Club founder Wolfgang Hampel. Not to be missed.

I can understand the reason why Betty MacDonald adored her grandmother Gammy and her father Darsie Bard. You only have to read their letters.
You can find so many strong characters in the Bard family.

I'm glad to hear we can welcome several new Betty MacDonald Fan Club members.
( see Betty MacDonald Fan Club Newsletter June ' New Betty MacDonald Fan Club members')

I look forward to meet you in 2012.
