William and Kate face off in Heidelberg boat race

 

Betty MacDonald fan club fans,

I was in Heidelberg today and met Betty MacDonald fan club founder and Vita Magica organizer Wolfgang Hampel. 

It was a great day.

We had some rain today but when the boat race started the sun was shining and the sky became blue.

A very exciting moment!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went head to head in a boat race during a visit to Heidelberg in Germany. 

Prince William coxed his boat to a convincing win over his wife Kate as the royals joined teams from the twinned towns of Cambridge and Heidelberg.
