So many people have already posted about Paul Allen's untimely passing. That's because he, directly or indirectly, affected so many people in so many ways. Many friends of mine worked with and/or for him and have so many stories. I met him briefly once or twice and had the privilege to record in his incredible home studio on Mercer Island.
For someone
as wealthy and as well known as Paul, I can't think of one story that
was truly negative. His passion for music, arts, science, history,
medical and social advancements, sports, space, and more, will continue
to advance from the seeds he planted and we will all continue to be
better off for it.
Thank you, Paul, for using your imagination and drive to create so much good. Wealth came as a by-product of your passions and you have left us all with the benefits of those passions - on so many levels and in so many ways.
RIP, Paul Allen. You will be missed, and not forgotten.
