The royals have been warmly received on every stop of their five-day tour of Poland and Germany so far.
But
today, a young boy gave the Duchess of Cambridge what might well turn
out to be the most enthusiastic welcome of the whole tour.
The
adorable youngster was so excited to see Kate, 35, he came dashing
towards her with arms outstretched, clutching a Union Jack flag and a
photo of her wedding to Prince William.
He
threw his arms around the mother-of-two who beamed as she hugged the
young wellwisher on a visit to the charity Strassenkinder in Berlin,
which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The charity cares for 200 children daily, providing welfare assistance, education and sports activities.
Earlier
this afternoon, thousands lined the Pariser Platz to catch a glimpse of
the royals as they visited the city's historic Brandenburg gate.
Fans
of the couple had gone out to give them a rapturous welcome, donning
glittery Union Jack vests and waving flags, while one man even dressed
up in the costume of one of the Queen's guards, complete with a mock
bearskin hat.
