The US election is already in full swing, since 12 noon (November 5th) the first voters on the east coast have been able to cast their ballots. In the small town of Dixville Notch in the state of New Hampshire, eligible voters have already been able to vote - the result confirms the balance between Harris and Trump. The Republicans in particular are relying on polarization in the final meters - a sheriff from Ohio is taking it to the extreme. t-online was the first to report.
It is well known that Donald Trump and his Republicans go far and cross boundaries at times to generate votes for their own interests. But John Rodgers, an ardent Trump supporter and sheriff in the Clark County police district, has taken the cake just before the big election night (German time).
Trump supporter: "Don't let Satan win"
On Facebook, he threatened that he would no longer protect citizens of his district if they voted for Kamala Harris on Tuesday. "I'm sorry. If you support the Democratic Party, I won't help you," he wrote. Four years ago, Donald Trump secured the favor of the eleven electoral votes in Ohio. With his threatening gestures, the sheriff wants to do his part to win again. According to "FiveThirtyEight," Harris has reduced the gap by two percentage points since November 1 (45 to 52 percent).
But Rodgers goes even further in his post: "The problem is that I know who among you supports the Democrats. I will not help you when the end is near. Ultimately, if you ask me for help, you will have to prove to me who you voted for. Guns and ammunition are expensive. Kamala Harris stands for SATAN. Don't let SATAN win," said the Trump supporter.
Although the threat is tantamount to violating the oath, the police headquarters in charge are largely keeping quiet. Although they have distanced themselves from the post, which has since been deleted, they are still standing behind Rodgers. His superior, Mike Young, asserts that he has complete confidence in Rodgers.
