ABBA have got back together

Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad last week made the surprise revelation that they have made two new songs together, for release later this year.
Subsequent speculation arose that they would play concerts together again, after they had previously plotted a string of “digital gigs” featuring computer-generated reincarnations of themselves.
However their spokesperson and manager has confirmed that there are absolutely no plans to headline Glastonbury or play their own new live shows.
“No, definitely not,” they told the paper.

They had always downplayed reunion rumours
“We should remember them how they were in the 1970s and listen to how they sing today.”
It’s still not known when the new tracks will see the light of day, but at least one will performed by their digital reincarnations on a TV special in December.
They revealed on Instagram: “The decision to go ahead with the exciting ABBA avatar tour project had an unexpected consequence.
“We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did."
“It resulted in two new songs and one of them, ‘I Still Have Faith In You’, will be performed by our digital selves in a TV special produced by NBC and the BBC aimed for broadcasting in December.
“We may have come of age, but the song is new. And it feels good.”
