Tesla shares plummet: If that isn't bad karma, Elon Musk!

Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger Tesla shares plummet: If that isn't bad karma, Elon Musk! Sarah Brasack • 4 hours • 3 minutes read Poor Elon Musk! The genius thought he'd factored everything into his master plan for the USA and his own bank account – and then forgot the basic salesman's tip: Never lose sight of your target audience. "MAGA" fans, as we all know, prefer driving pickup trucks to Teslas and find green energy almost as bad as gender-obsessed nonsense. And those who bought Teslas are now sticking stickers on their backs – or at least muttering the phrase every time they watch the news: I bought my Tesla before Elon Musk went crazy. So now, in the midst of all this madness, one can finally exclaim: There's still good news! Demonstrations against Tesla are said to be terrorist acts Will Trump's embarrassing Tesla sales show in front of the White House and his announcement that Tesla protests would be classified as terrorism give Tesla's rapid stock decline the hoped-for double boost? I'm betting twice against it. And then there's Musk's exploding rocket: If that isn't bad karma. Recent developments are a lesson in the fact that purchasing decisions have real influence – be it in stocks or cars. The stocks of the tech billionaires who crowded into the front row for Trump's enthronement have also done better. Did people cancel their Amazon Prime subscriptions in protest after Jeff Bezos banned his Washington Post from free speech? Well, I do! As a journalist, I get really rude when it comes to gagging. Donald Trump is the elephant in the Oval Office Canadians are now also starting to react with irritation to Trump's imperialism. In the future, there will be significantly more Canadian products available than American ones. This could hurt US companies greatly. As sad as the return to nationalism is, the fact is equally encouraging: We as individuals are not as powerless as we often think. There are alternatives to powerful monopolies – be it the US or WhatsApp. Almost 300,000 people in Germany have signed the "Save Social" petition, co-founded by Cologne residents, calling on politicians to finally take decisive action against Big Tech platforms. If there is one positive thing to be taken from the first 100 days of Trump's term in office, it is this: He is breaking so much china that even the last person realizes there's an elephant in the Oval Office. The first sprouts of protest are becoming visible in the Republican wall. Are there actually no Republicans working in the Department of Education, which Trump is currently shutting down? Don't Republican children go to school? Tesla, of all companies, has just published a letter warning against tariff wars, saying they are quite a hindrance to car sales. Tesla CEO Musk didn't sign the letter, but Trump is probably not amused. With a bit of luck, the two super-egos will soon be hopelessly at odds, and the Republicans will prefer to end the tariff war themselves. That would be it, the double whammy.
