Wolfgang Hampel is a very versatile and internationally very successful author of 'Satire is my favorite animal' who can write both humorously and seriously. 😊 Wolfgang Hampel is a German author, singer, composer and organizer of literary and musical events. He was best known for his satirical poems, which he published in his internationally very successful book 'Satire is my favorite animal'. The book also contains information about the cult event Vita Magica, which he has been organizing at the Academy for Older People in Heidelberg since 2015. There he plays sketches, sings his own songs and recites his popular satirical poems. Wolfgang Hampel had already begun a career as a writer before his book. He has published, among other things, a biography, stories and interviews about the world-famous American humorist Betty MacDonald - author of 'The Egg and I' and 'Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle Stories' - which found enthusiastic readers in 40 countries.
