Many love greetings Astrid ------------------------------------------------------- Now the year raises the scythe And mows the summer days like a farmer. He who sows must mow. And he who mows must sow. Nothing remains, my heart. And everything is permanent. Hollyhocks stand behind the fence In their old, brittle silk costumes. The sunflowers, lush, blond and brown, with veils in front of their faces, look like women, who went on a trip to the capital. When did they travel? Hardly during the day. They were always shining golden on the rocket. When did they travel? Perhaps in a dream? At night, when the scent of the linden tree wafted sweetly past them? In books one reads large and wide, that even the infinite is not infinite. One turns and turns space and time. One is cleverer than clever, - the incomprehensible remains incomprehensible. A harvest wagon sways through the field. The garden smells of mint and chamomile. One sees the heat. And one hears the silence. How small the whole world is today! How big and boundless is the idyll ... Nothing remains, my heart. Soon the day says goodnight. Into somewhere, like tears without sorrow. Then wish your wish, but take good care!
