Betty MacDonald's very difficult marriage

Betty MacDonald fan club exhibit will be most interesting because of the huge Betty MacDonald fan club letter collection. Betty MacDonald's marriage was a very difficult one. It wasn't a picnic with Robert Eugene Heskett on this chicken ranch. Therefore it was a good decision that Betty left him in March 1931 and went back to her family in Seattle.


This reminds me of Doris Day who wasn't very happy with her four husbands. You know there are true love stories - for example James Garner and Lois Clarke.
My favourite Doris Day movie is The Thrill of it all  with Doris and James Garner. I have to tell you my mother and I are in love with James Garner. It was one of the best movies Doris Day ever made.


Happy birthday Doris Day! Good old Doris Day outlived most of  her other partners but James Garner is still alive.


Mother and I believe James Garner and Doris Day are the most beautiful couple and we are crazy about their movies.
