"Not a masterpiece": Viewers disappointed by Günther Jauch's "Quadrell" moderation

Günther Jauch has to endure severe criticism after TV "Quadrell".
During and after the spectacular TV "Quadrell" (RTL) with top politicians Olaf Scholz (66), Friedrich Merz (69), Robert Habeck (55) and Alice Weidel (46), the internet was seething: Viewers were disappointed and sharply criticized.
The focus is particularly on the lack of discussion of pressing issues such as the climate crisis, which many consider to be extremely important. But it is not just the politicians themselves who are getting their fair share - presenter Günther Jauch (67) also has to put up with a veritable shitstorm. Pinar Atalay (46), who has just said a few rare words about her husband, led the evening together with the presenter.
Jungle camp question irritates politicians in TV "Quadrell"
Viewers accuse the moderator of being unenthusiastic about the format. "Who actually forced poor Günther Jauch to moderate the Quadrell when he doesn't feel like it at all?" complains one user online. "Pinar Ataley at least acted confidently. But for Jauch as a moderator, it was by no means a masterpiece," says another user.
Politicians Merz, Scholz, Habeck and Weidel were also partly irritated by the questions asked during the TV debate. A question about the jungle camp caused a lot of surprise and irritation in the TV "Quadrell". "Jungle camp? Seriously? The moderators couldn't think of anything else?" criticizes one viewer online. "A trash TV political show with trash TV questions," another user sums it up.
"Completely miscast": Jauch received bitter criticism for "Quadrell" appearance
Another viewer even went a step further and asked that Jauch not host any more political shows in the future. "Dear Günther, please no political talks. Completely miscast. You host Millionaire so well, why don't you stick with it." Another viewer did not find Jauch's moderation neutral. "I'm sorry Günther Jauch, I like you very much, but you were not neutral in this round, and that is not acceptable as a moderator! It doesn't matter who you like and who you don't like!".
During the show, Günther Jauch caused an embarrassing moment when an old beer mat with historical significance fell out of his hand. "Jauch says that he has to be careful and then lets the beer mat fall. Exactly my humor" or "Moderation or not, but Jauch has just provided the highlight of the entire talk. Respect."
Günther Jauch recently commented on a possible political special on his quiz show.
