We can be very grateful and happy because our relatives, grandparents, parents, aunts and so on who admire(d) Betty MacDonald, Mary Bard Jensen and the Bard family the same way we do today.

Therefore we are able to read the most interesting documents.

To imagine the situation, Betty MacDonald and Mary Bard Jensen had a very busy life but they answered every letter in such a kind way with all these details. It's really amazing. The fans had / have millions of questions.

I have to praise Mary Bard Jensen's husband Dr. Clyde Jensen.
Some relatives of mine met him after his wife passsed away.

As Betty MacDonald's and Mary Bard Jensen's very witty sister Alison Bard Burnett mentioned in Wolfgang Hampel's interviews he was the kindest man on earth.

Gammy's and Darsie Bard's letters are my favourites because they are so very beautifully written.

If only I could write letters like this.
