After rereading Betty MacDonald's Onions in the Stew and some of her very funny letters describing her life on Vashon Island I can imagine to live for example on Vashon Island.

Why not living on an island?

Yes - you need the ferry to go to Seattle.

I'd say living on an island is a great opportunity for people who don't have to go to work every day.

Betty MacDonald and other members of her family obviously enjoyed life on Vashon Island very much.

One of the reasons I don't want to live on an island because I don't like ferries.

My friends and I are a bit sad that France lost the match but Germany got an excellent team.

I guess Brazil will win FIFA World Cup 2014 against Netherlands in the final.
