The rabbit woman is very busy.
The sun shines blue from the sky.
She paints the eggs,
but where is her husband?
He lies in the grass and watches her,
moaning softly: I need some peace and quiet.
I've caught a nasty virus.
Work's over today!
I still have to go shopping,
I want to look for something special.
Then she calls out loudly: I believe you!
Are you hunting for Berzel paper again?
You're very happy to let me toil,
only to quickly disappear.
I'm not hiding it.
You're a dwarf in character.
Your virus is supposed to be love,
but you leave me alone so often.
You're always so quick to run away.
When will you stand by my side?
The rabbit woman is losing her temper:
You're not sick, just lazy as hell,
you make me do all the work
so she can laugh up your sleeve.
Then she says, full of annoyance:
It's over for both of us now.
I'm not to be envied with you,
so I'm divorcing you...
The rabbit is truly frightened,
shocked, and completely thrown off balance.
Suddenly he's young again,
jumps up, and paints with enthusiasm.
The virus is over now.
I'm your hero - no coward!!!!
Then she looks at him with a smile.
Love is now green with hope.
We wish you today, for Easter,
good health and only the best. We should also broaden our perspective now.
Better times are coming.

Trump wishes Biden and "left-wing lunatics" a happy Easter
Astrid Lund - Betty MacDonald fan club organizer: "Donald Trump effortlessly manages to undercut his incredibly low standards here too!"----------------------------------------------------

Trump wishes Biden and "left-wing lunatics" a happy Easter
1 hour • 2 minutes reading time
US President Donald Trump has made some enemies with his deportation policy. He now sent them an Easter greeting – insults included. He also directed harsh words at his predecessor, Joe Biden.
US President Donald Trump lashed out at domestic political opponents with an unusual Easter greeting on social media. "Happy Easter to everyone, including the left-wing lunatics who are fighting and scheming so hard to bring murderers, drug lords, dangerous prisoners, the mentally ill, known MS-13 gang members, and wife beaters back to our country," Trump wrote on his platform Truth Social.
The day before, hundreds of demonstrators had demonstrated in front of the White House, protesting, among other things, Trump's deportation policy. Recently, the US government had come under fire over the case of a migrant whom it had deported to El Salvador despite having been granted deportation protection. The US government initially called it an "administrative error," but simultaneously reiterated the accusation that he was a member of the notorious MS-13 gang. The man and his lawyers deny this.
Against the backdrop of judges partially blocking his deportations using a controversial and rarely used law from the 18th century, Trump wrote: "Happy Easter to the weak and incompetent judges, too."
The Republican wrote of former President Joe Biden, whom he accuses of failures and mistakes almost daily: "He was by far our worst and most incompetent president, a man who had absolutely no idea what he was doing." But I also wish him and all those who cheated in the 2020 presidential election "so that this most destructive idiot was elected, with great love, sincerity, and affection, a Happy Easter," Trump wrote. For years, he has spread the unsubstantiated claim that his election victory was stolen from him through massive fraud.
A few minutes earlier, the US President had sent more traditional Easter greetings at the same location: "Melania and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter! Whether you attend church or watch the service from home, may this day be filled with peace and joy for all who celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is risen."

Morning Briefing Plus: The New Land of the Free? The Miraculous Triumph of the Ailing EU
Handelsblatt
Morning Briefing Plus: The New Land of the Free? The Miraculous Triumph of the Ailing EU
Koch, Moritz • 1 hour • 5 minutes reading time
Just written off as a case for restructuring, Europe is suddenly seen as the last bastion of freedom. Brussels' predictability is the counter to the arbitrariness of Washington.
Dear readers,
Welcome to our look at the most important topics of the week. Let's begin today with a thought that goes back a little further.
At the beginning of January, an essay appeared in the US magazine "Foreign Affairs" describing the "strange triumph of a broken America." In it, US political scientist Michael Beckley attempted to explore the "paradox of American power": How can a country deeply ideologically divided and marked by great political discontent be so economically successful?
One hundred days later, America's strange triumph has turned into a disturbing disaster. Since President Donald Trump unleashed a global trade war, the US economy, which once seemed indestructible, has been lurching toward recession.
Today, one would have to write a new essay – one about the miraculous triumph of a struggling Europe. Just a moment ago, the EU was written off as an amusement park and industrial museum, and suddenly it's seen as the last bastion of liberal values, and Europe is emerging as the new land of the free.
The task now is to explore the "paradox of European power": How can a state structure experiencing a dramatic loss of economic competitiveness be so politically attractive?
Friedrich Merz, Germany's future Chancellor, proclaims "the hour of the European Union" in the Handelsblatt. EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen outlines the European dream in the "Die Zeit" newspaper – in sharp contrast to the USA: "We have no bros and no oligarchs."
Indeed, Europe has strengths that have been overlooked in recent years, marked by the war in Ukraine, the energy crisis, migration burdens, and fears of deindustrialization. A good life, in freedom and security: Even before Trump's return to power, most European countries fulfilled this promise to their citizens better than the US.
Europeans live longer and are healthier. Emergency surgery in Europe is not a risk of poverty. Metal detectors are located at airports, not in front of school buildings.
Amid the general sense of crisis, a new enthusiasm for Europe is emerging. In a Eurobarometer survey conducted in March, 74 percent of Europeans surveyed said their country benefits from EU membership. This number has never been higher. And after Trump's declaration of trade war on April 2, the supposed "Liberation Day," the numbers are likely to have risen even further.
The EU stands for everything Trump questions—free trade, peacefulness, and adherence to the law—and thus inevitably becomes the antithesis of the new America. No wonder Trump branded the EU an "adversary." Brussels' predictability is the counter to Washington's arbitrariness.
But just as America could not permanently withstand the tension between political decline and economic dynamism, Europe too is in danger of failing due to its contradictions. A weak economy cannot sustain a strong political community.
Europe needs a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, more free trade agreements, and fewer reporting requirements. If the EU wants to inherit America as the land of the free, it must begin by freeing the European economy from its shackles.
I wish you a happy Easter weekend.
Best regards,
Moritz Koch
